　国際交流受入3日目（4/24）、帯広•音更に行き、お菓子作り体験、道の駅での足湯体験、神社見学、ばんえい競馬場見学等を行い、日本•十勝ならではの文化を感じてもらいました。

　4日目（4/25）学校での受入最終日、午前中は大樹町スペースポートツアーに参加し、宇宙交流センターSORA、滑走路・JAXA大樹航空宇宙実験場、インターステラテクノロジズ社を見学させていただきました。午後には広尾町長を表敬訪問させていただき、本事業に関する報告がされました。カナダ派遣団からはブルックス市の旗等が広尾町に授与されました。その後2、3年生合同で英語の特別授業を行い、日本人生徒とカナダ留学生それぞれ主導のアクティビティを行い親睦を深めました。

　翌日（4/26）にカナダ派遣団は帰国の途につき、その後、無事帰国したと報告を受けました。カナダの留学生達は、「日本で体験した全てのことがカナダとは異なり非常にいい体験となった。」「日本人生徒達とホストしてくれたご家族達が温かく迎えてくれ、参加して良かった。」「また日本に来たい。」などと言っていました。お互いの生徒にとって、

この一週間は異文化理解の一助になったことと思います。

　本国際交流事業において、多方面の方々に大変お世話になりました。支援してくださった広尾町、ホストしてくださったご家族の方々、本事業に関わっていただいた全ての方々に御礼申し上げます。ありがとうございました。

**International Exchange Program – Days 3 and 4**

On the third day of the international exchange program (April 24), we visited Obihiro and Otofuke, where the participants experienced traditional Japanese culture unique to Tokachi. Activities included a confectionery-making experience, a foot bath at a roadside station, a visit to a shrine, and a tour of the Ban'ei horse racing track.

On the fourth and final day at school (April 25), in the morning, the group joined a tour of the Taiki Spaceport, visiting facilities such as the Space Exchange Center SORA, the runway and JAXA Taiki Aerospace Research Field, and the Interstellar Technologies company. In the afternoon, the participants paid a courtesy visit to the mayor of Hiroo Town, where they reported on the exchange project. During the visit, the Canadian delegation presented a flag from the City of Brooks to Hiroo Town. Following this, a special English lesson was held for the second- and third-year students, where both Japanese students and Canadian exchange students led activities, deepening their friendship.

The next day (April 26), the Canadian delegation departed for home. We later received a report that they had returned safely. The Canadian students shared their impressions, saying things like, “Everything we experienced in Japan was different from Canada and became a very special memory,” “The Japanese students and host families welcomed us warmly, and I’m glad I participated,” and “I want to come to Japan again.”

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who supported this international exchange program, including Hiroo Town, the host families, and all others involved. Thank you very much.

　国際交流学校受け入れ2日目（4/23）、午前中は町内小学校2校にお邪魔し、留学生によるカナダに関するプレゼン、トリビアクイズ、英語を使った活動を行いました。留学生たちは事前に日本語を練習し、適宜日本語をしながらプレゼンをしました。小学校の児童たちはカナダの留学生たちに興味津々で、活動はとても盛り上がりました。

　午後は高校に戻り、書道の授業を体験しました。書道担当の高橋教諭が事前に英語版の書道の手順（説明書）を作成し丁寧に指導してくださったため、留学生たちと引率のCindy先生は筆を使いこなし、上手に日本語を書いていました。

　ご協力くださった広尾小学校•豊似小学校の皆様、書道の高橋教諭、ありがとうございました。

**Day 2 of the International Exchange Program (April 23)**

In the morning, the exchange students visited two local elementary schools in Hiroo Town. They gave presentations about Canada, hosted trivia quizzes, and led fun activities using English. The exchange students had practiced speaking Japanese in advance, and incorporated it into their presentations when appropriate. The elementary school children were very curious and excited to interact with the Canadian students, making the activities lively and engaging.

In the afternoon, they returned to the high school, where the exchange students participated in a calligraphy class. Thanks to Ms. Takahashi, the calligraphy teacher, who had kindly prepared English instructions beforehand and provided careful guidance, both the exchange students and their accompanying teacher, Ms. Engel, were able to skillfully use the brushes and write beautiful Japanese characters.

　４月２０日より、国際交流推進事業において、カナダ・アルバータ州・ブルックス市のブルックス・コンポジット高校の生徒４名と引率教員１名を受け入れています。

　今回来日している留学生たちは、９月に広尾高校から派遣された生徒達を現地でホストしてくれた家庭の生徒たちです。カナダ派遣団は４月１８日に来日し、最初はスカイツリーや浅草といった東京観光を楽しんだそうです。北海道での初日は、東京都の寒暖差に驚いていました。

　高校での受け入れ初日(4/22)は、生徒会主催のウエルカムセレモニー、英語コミュニケーション・調理実習の授業体験、中学校訪問でのカナダの文化についてのプレゼン発表を行いました。セレモニーでは生徒会の生徒達が創意工夫し、英語での歓迎スピーチ、英語を用いたアクティビティを実施し、派遣団を暖かく歓迎してくれました。留学生達が参加した授業では、日本人の生徒達は英語やジェスチャーで積極的にコミュニケーションをとり、親睦を深めていました。

　国際交流事業の学校での受け入れは４月２５日まで行われ、書道の授業体験や、小学校訪問、町長訪問が予定されています。

　４月１５日（火）１～３校時を使って、新入生歓迎対面式及び生徒会オリエンテーションが実施されました。

前半は、部活動紹介、学校行事紹介が行われました。最初は少し緊張した様子の１年生でしたが、後半の先生インタビューでは担任の先生の回答を各クラスクイズ形式で回答し、先輩方に引っ張られ大喜利大会のように盛り上がっていました。最後は全学年ごちゃ混ぜのＮＧワードゲームを行い、先輩方と交流を深めていました。

　４月８日（火）午後からは入学式が挙行されました。本年度は３２名の新入生が広高生の仲間入りをしてくれました。暫くは緊張感がある日々になるかもしれませんが、明日から始まる高校生活が充実したものになりますように！！
